22. Selecting Symbol & Timeframe

Once your strategy is on the chart:

1. Choose your symbol

   • Use the symbol search at the top left of the chart.

   • Pick the pair you actually intend to trade with Perpbot (e.g. BTCUSDT on your futures exchange).

2. Choose your timeframe

   • At the top of the chart, pick your timeframe (e.g. 5m, 15m, 1h, etc).

   • Make sure this matches the timeframe you designed the strategy around.

3. Confirm the logic visually

   • You’ll now see entry and exit markers on the chart.

   • Scroll through history to see where your strategy:

     • Opened longs/shorts.

     • Hit TP or SL.

     • Closed positions.

If something looks off (too many trades, random entries, missed trends), go back to the AI assistant and adjust the logic.
