6. Tokenomics & Perpbot Strategy Account
6.1 PERP Tokenomics
Supply: 8888 $PERP
Tax: 5% (Buy, Sell, Transfer). 2% Reflections in $PERP. 1.5% goes towards Perpbot Strategy Account. 1.5% goes towards operations. Operations funds marketing, team expenses etc.
6.2 PERP Token Utility
Ecosystem Token: $PERP represents the Perpbot ecosystem and benefits from its trading performance & bot volume.
Reflections: 2% of token tax goes to rewarding holders with $PERP. This is automatic for all holders.
Tax-Funded Strategy Account: 1.5% of token tax flows funds the Perpbot Strategy Account increasing profits generated.
Buyback & Burn: Net PnL from the strategy account is used to buyback & burn $PERP.
Token Gated Perpbot Strategies: Moving forward we will be token gating our perpbot strategies to ensure profitability (once Perpbot is scaled we could be deliberately stop hunted if lots of users follow Perpbot Strategies). This is why we have chosen to have a low token supply for nice simple numbers. Token gating of Perpbot strategies could be 10, 20, 50, 100 depending on the strategy.
Revenue Sharing (coming soon): 100% bot revenue to $PERP holders. Bot revenue comes from connecting your account to Aster Referral link. Once revenue sharing goes live, this will be accompanied with a dashboard and Dune analytics for APY.
DAO (coming soon): Vote on what steps Perpbot should do next.
6.3 Strategy Account Mechanics
Starts with an initial funded balance (from tax allocations).
Runs Aster X1 Low (and other Perpbot strategies in future as they rollout).
Profits are:
Used for $PERP buyback & burn. You can track profits of strategy in our main group with
/asterx1
Over time, this creates:
Success of the AsterX1 Strategy fuels token growth, brings more volume to the token which in turn funds AsterX1 with more funds which generates more profits to buyback more. The cycle continues.
6.4 APY & Projection Logic
To check APY projections for the AsterX1 Strategy do the following in our group chat:
/asterx1apysimulates what would have happened with a $1,000 starting account following Aster X1 Low & High settings. It assumes:
Equity compounds over time with realized PnL
The result is used to annualize a projected APY (not guaranteed especially when there is little time to go off of)
This gives users an intuitive answer to:
“If I had started with $1,000 at the beginning of the tracked period, what might my balance look like now?”
…and then ties it back to the Perpbot Strategy Account narrative.
