17. Setup for a Custom Strategy in Perpbot

You can create custom strategies to automate with Perpbot. All you need is a TradingView Strategy which will send alerts to Perpbot.

In private chat:

  1. Send /custom.

  2. Choose “Create your own Strategy”.

  3. The bot will:

    • Ask for a strategy name.

    • Ask you to set a password (this is your “secret” for TradingView alerts).

    • Ask you to confirm the password.

  4. After creation, it gives you a Webhook URL:

    https://webhook.perpbot.io/yourToken

This URL is unique to your strategy & your account.

✅ Custom strategies are per-user A strategy you create belongs only to your account. Other users cannot see or use it unless you explicitly give them your webhook URL + secret (not recommended).
