14. How Perpbot Links to Your Aster Account
Perpbot enforces that your Aster API keys belong to a wallet that:
Applied the Perpbot referral link on Aster.
Was on-chain verified via a small BNB transfer.
Has API keys restricted to Perpbot’s IP address and futures trading.
This protects both you and the project (referral enforcement, safety, and anti-abuse).
14.1 Step 1 – Apply the Perpbot Referral
The bot will show you the referral link:
Do this first:
Click referral link above to go to Aster and connect with the wallet you plan to use for trading.
Apply the referral code in Aster’s UI.
14.2 Step 2 – Begin API Setup in the Bot
In a private chat with the bot:
Send
/setapi.The bot will:
Remind you to use the same wallet as your Aster account.
Ask you to send 0.0001 BNB to a unique deposit address.
Click the confirm button once you have sent the BNB
After you sent BNB to the deposit address, press the “I Sent The BNB” button.
Wait for the bot to confirm your deposit.
Once verified, the bot updates the chat with:
✅ Wallet verified! Now send your Aster API Key.
You’ll then enter:
Your Aster API Key.
Your Aster API Secret.

14.3 Step 3 – Create & Configure Aster API Key
After you have verfied your wallet, setup your Aster API on Aster:
Go to Aster → API Management (https://www.asterdex.com/en/api-management)
Create a new API key for Perpbot.
Configure the key with:
IP Whitelisting
While setting up your API select restrict API to IP and input this IP:
95.111.247.158Then confirm the API creation in wallet
Paste API Keys to Perpbot:
Copy your API Key and paste it in Perpbot. Then copy your API Secret and paste it into Perpbot.
Permissions (after API setup select Edit API in Aster)
Enable basic read/account info permissions.
Enable Futures trading.
Do NOT enable any other permissions.
