28.1 Safety Tips

• Never turn on withdrawal permissions in Aster API keys.

• Keep your API secret private.

• If you suspect compromise:

  • Revoke the API key in Aster.

  • Run /setapi again in Perpbot to link a new key.

• Keep a portion of your balance unutilized in strategies to avoid liquidation in volatile conditions. Avoid setting up automated strategies on illiquid pairs (e.g. exotic alts). If you do want to trade exotic alts, manage risk accordingly.

28.2 Common Bot Messages

• “Wallet not verified yet” → Make sure you:

  • Sent the 0.0001 BNB from the correct wallet.

  • Waited long enough for chain confirmation.

  • Pressed the “I Sent The BNB” button.

• “API keys invalid” / “API keys removed” → Internal checks may have revealed you are trading with Perpbot illegally (by not binding account to our referral lin):

  • Re-check that you have linked your master wallet with our referral link, successfully followed steps to verify in /setapi

• No trades executing

  • Is automation ON in /start menu?

  • Is your preset enabled (Low / High)?

  • Do you have sufficient USDT balance on Aster?

  • Are TradingView alerts actually firing (check TradingView’s alert logs)?

  • Have you setup the correct message for alert shown in section 6?

  • Have you linked your custom webhook link from Perpbot to the Webhook URL field in alert?

28.3 Group vs Private Behavior

• In the main group:

  • /asterx1 → shows Perpbot Strategy Account stats & explanation of $PERP buybacks.

  • /asterx1apy → simulated $1000 account APY projection.

  • /competition → current or last competition leaderboard.

• In private chat:

  • You manage everything:

    • /start

    • /setapi

    • /custom

    • Strategy creation & management.
